Come September 16, Kechara Forest Retreat together with the Bentong City Council (Majlis Perbandaran Bentong) and the Tsem Rinpoche Foundation will be celebrating Hari Malaysia 2016 with a good old-fashioned gotong royong. This Hari Malaysia, we plan to clean up and beautify Jalan Chamang, Bentong to show our gratitude to Mother Nature.
The cleaning route will start from the entrance of Kechara Forest Retreat (KFR) and we will work our way along Jalan Chamang. Participants will be divided into groups to focus on specific stretches of Jalan Chamang.
Breakfast, beverages, cleaning tools and equipment will be sponsored by kind Bentong locals who have been very supportive of Kechara’s work.
Just like our first Gotong Royong in 2015, Kechara welcomes everyone to join us and make this event a successful and memorable one.
