A special guest visits a special place!

Datin Ng, a sponsor (jindak) of Kechara, visited KFR for the first time last Saturday. She came together with Dato’ Ruby, Henry and Angel at around 12 noon. Upon her arrival, she was warmly greeted by Datuk May and the KWPC team, who were excited to welcome Datin Ng.

As this was her first time at KFR, Datuk May took Datin Ng on a tour of the temporary abodes, which consisted of Rinpoche’s cabin and the cabin for the Private Office (PO). Datuk May also briefed Datin on the location of the Ladrang at KFR.

After the brief, Datin and Datuk proceeded to light candles at the Shakyamuni Buddha situated at the iconic tree. Datin made a prayer and lit 3 candles. She also went to the butterlamp house to light 3 candles. At one point in the butterlamp house, Datin told Datuk that she would like to sponsor 200 candles at the butterlamp house.

After lighting the candles, all of the guests proceeded to have a durian lunch, prepared by Joe Ang, at the PO area. Everyone enjoyed the durian meal within the perfect setting of the forest as a backdrop.

Overall, Datin Ng was very happy to be able to visit and to learn more about KFR.
